Victoria Rose Advisors LLC was founded on June 24, 2020 by Victor J. Perkins named after the middle names of his two daughters Jalynn Victoria Brooks-Perkins and Jaia Rose Brooks-Perkins. He started this company with his daughters Jalynn Perkins, dance historian and Jaia Perkins, inventor.
In 2016, Victor and oldest daughter, Jalynn, started a dance education program called TapTakeOver Harlem in which they would hire Broadway tap dance professionals and a DJ to perform at local schools in Harlem to teach tap history and Tap instruction. What started out as a workshop developed into full blown tap classes for people of all ages. While hosting events Victor and youngest daughter Jaia noticed that it was difficult to hear the tap or step dancing over the loud music of the DJ or live bands. They found that the music had to be lowered in order to hear the tap or step dance but unfortunately that would reduce the excitement of music. Victor and Jaia invented JAIABOARDS which are electronic foot percussion boards that plug into speakers, soundboard mixers and drum modules to alter the sound.
On February 16 2022, Victor and Jaia completed the legal process and obtained a full patent on their invention.
